Horses for sale!

Watch Us Grow!

Not all of our horses are "done" yet. Some are growing, all are getting constantly handled, lunged, learning to carry a bit, long lined, etc. But we still think they warrant attention and a "look-see". Come visit with our young ones. They aren't for sale yet, but you never know...we can't keep them all!

By now, you know Taboo, Blue, Bugs, and Mr Smokin Blue Genes. Now, we're proud to present to you Sophie, Handsome and Fast Fox! Like we said, they are growing, but who knows?, we can't keep them all.

Bugs

NEW - On our grow page we like to post pictures of the progress some of our horses are making. In the case of "Bugs", she's come a long way. Not only did she come from Montana, but Doodle Bug Music has surpassed our expectations. Sensitive, level headed, and highly intelligent, this big moving mare not only has a huge motor, but she's pretty darn big period, at 16.0 hands. That being said, she's surprisingly light and nimble. After over a year under saddle, Bugs now does sliding stops, opens and closes gates, rollbacks, spins, lopes her circles big and small and has been on cattle. She will watch a cow. Bred this spring to Cody's Classic Edition, a 14.3 hand Grulla reining stallion, from Florida, we'll be expecting some great things next spring.

Mr Smokin Blue Genes

Mr Smokin Blue Genes, our stud colt by Mainly Marty and out of Smokys Blue Gem, is a relative of Hollywood Dun It and a great grandson of Hollywood Jac 86. Hollywood Jac 86 sire of the famous reining stallion, Hollywood Dun it. "Smokin" is also a grandson of the winning reining mare Mainly Martha.

Cody's Classical Music

By Cody's Classic Edition out of Doodle Bug Music. This filly has it all going on. Big hip, athleticism, balance, muscle and Foundation bloodlines, Joe Cody on the top and Music Mount on the bottom. Speed, bone and heart.

Nothing to it! Look who's under saddle now: Miss Magic Taboo. Congratulations to horse and rider! Lisa makes sure all fours are on the ground and squarely planted. Months of lunging, handling and ground driving prepare both horse and rider for the lst ride. Lisa Locarnini gets Taboo ready for her first go under saddle. Lisa passes the 'sniff' test by the filly.
